There are two ways to test for Obstructive Sleep Apnea [OSA] or snoring as popularly called. Either these tests [for OSA or snoring] are conducted in a Hospital [Not all Hospitals have such facilities] or they can take these tests at patients home in their own bed using advanced, yet simple looking machines . These sleep tests can be taken at home right on the patients bed itself without full night presence of a Technician.

In comparison, Home sleep lab tests are economical [Fixed fees Rs. 5,850/*] and are conducted with short notice and at home.

Sleep therapy is oftentimes prescribed by a physician for the treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). The most common form of therapy is the use of a CPAP machine, in order to assist patients during sleep. Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) increases pressure in the airway and helps to keep the airway open while the patient slumbers.
